With the free upgrade to Windows 10 being delivered through Windows Update, some worried you wouldn’t be able to do a clean install of the new OS. Compared to a cleanly installed OS, an upgraded OS has a greater risk of issues arising and troubled performance. Problems can arise from old files and registry entries.
This led many to ask if they could perform a clean install of the Windows 10 free upgrade to make sure their device’s performance is as strong as possible with the latest OS from Microsoft. Aul has confirmed that it will be possible to do a clean reinstall at any time.Further reading: Microsoft, Windows 10
