Microsoft has released a new Edge Dev build, bringing it up to 109.0.1481.0. It unpacks a couple of features, among them, a new toggle in the Add page prompt, that is, Open this page in Compatibility view which is exclusive to Internet Explorer mode pages. It also comes with a new open in new tab button on the Sidebar games and finally, the update adds enhancements to WebView2, that is, support for File Upload in UWP and an IDL validator tool.

This update should roll out to users automatically, however, if this is not the case, you can trigger the update manually by visiting Edge’s Settings menu, then click on Help and Feedback, select About Microsoft Edge, and then wait for the browser to download the update.

Be sure to check out Microsoft’s blog post for more details pertaining to this update. In other related Edge news, Microsoft is currently testing a new feature in the Edge Canary Channel, Touch Mode which features a dedicated UI for touch devices.
