The Forza team has just announced that seven new cars will be heading to Forza Horizon 3 by way of the Alpinestars Car Pack. And, as an added bonus, the team has also announced that Forza Horizon 3 is the year’s best selling, and highest rated racing game with over five million fans playing Forza games in September on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.

Leading the pack of new cars for Forza Horizon 3 is the 2017 Acura NSX. This car is a hybrid but is also a supercar with a 650 horsepower, all-wheel-drive, twin-turbo, hybrid engine. The second car in the pack, meanwhile, is the 1998 Nissan Silvia K’s, which has the later version of the SR20DET motor with variable valve timing and a larger turbo under the hood. Third up is the 1990 Mazda Savannah RX-7 which features a two-rotor design known as the 13B, turbocharger and a host of other refinements to bring power up to 200 and 195 ft-lbs.
Rolling into fourth place is the 1967 Ford Falcon XR GT which is powered by a 289 V8 engine and is most famous for winning the Gallaher 500 by 11 seconds and setting the course for GM’s Holden and Chrysler Australia to get involved in racing. Not too far behind in fifth, meanwhile, is the 2016 Dodge Viper ACR which is built for the track with a massive wing that contributes around 2,000 pounds of downforce at top speed.
In the back of the pack (but certainly not the slowest!) is the 2016 BMW M4 GTS which features new water-injection technology helps maintain intake manifold temperatures for higher boost pressures and increased horsepower. And, last but not least, is the 1979 Talbot Lotus Sunbeam which has a punched out to liter engine and 150 horsepower of power under the hood.
The Forza team is also teasing some extra content which is coming later this year and has promised that with Winter, will come some less than ideal road conditions. For now, however, the team notes that a Forza Horizon 3 Expansion Pass is available at $34.99 for discounted access to two future expansions. Ultimate Edition owners will receive a discount of $10 on the Forza Horizon 3 Expansion Pass if purchased before the end of 2016.
