Forza Edition cars are coming to Forza Motorsport 7

The Forza Team today put a spotlight on a special set of cars which will be heading to Forza Motorsport 7. Unique to the title will be special edition Forza Edition cars, featuring unique styles, custom tuning, and bonuses which will help you in the world of the Xbox exclusive racing game.

Leading the special Forza Edition cars is the 2017 Forza Edition Ford GT. Powered by a 647 EcoBoost twin-turbo engine, the car features carved aerodynamics, gloriously sculptured form, and massive downforce. It's just one of many Forza Edition cars, and more will be revealed soon.

For now, you can guarantee yourself access to this car, the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport Forza Edition, the 2013 Ram Runner Forza Edition, the 2012 Nissan GTR Forza Edition, the 1992 Ford Escort RS Forza Edition, and the 2014 BMW M4 Forza Edition by buying the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions of Forza Motorsport 7.

For everyone else planning to buy the standard version of the game, the Forza team offers up the following description of what you can expect come October 3rd.

In Forza Motorsport 7, Forza Edition cars will be immediately recognizable on the track.... Forza Edition cars will always stand out from the crowd. Not only do these cars look great and drive well, but Forza Edition vehicles also offer advantages to progress your career and increase your credit balance. Each Forza Edition vehicle has built-in multipliers that will enhance your credit reward for racing and winning with it, as well as increase the XP gained while you are behind the wheel. These are tools of your racing trade that will deliver a big payoff, race after race.

The Forza Edition cars will also be available via in game rewards, the Forza Drivers Cup in single player mode, #Forzathon events, and in the Auction House, which will be making a return in Forza 7.
