It was announced today that the May update for Forza Motorsport 7 is now live on both Xbox One and PC. The update introduces fixes for the livery editor and also the new 2018 Honda Civic Type R to the game for free for all players.

A full list of the changes in today’s update is coming soon to the Forza forums but highlights include fixing crash bugs affecting Xbox One Players, and a fix for a glitch which allowed players to steal custom liveries. Anyway, the update also introduces both the 2018 Honda Civic Type R and the 1997 Honda Civic Type R Forza Edition. You can read more about the new 2018 Honda Civic Type R below, or watch the trailer for all its glory.

  • 2018 Honda Civic Type R: Honda’s latest is a track-ready, five-door hatchback that pulls out all the stops in performance and styling; from the functional scoops and curves that feed the turbo-charged 2.0-liter four-cylinder and aid in aerodynamics, to the massive wing that screams “Look at me!” and delivers massive downforce. The chassis tuning is sublime and immensely precise.

Also new with this update are some Honda themed Forza 7 events. These include both rival events, multiplayer hoppers, and league events. Rival events run from May 1-May 31st on the Watkins Glen Full Circuit, Suzuka West, Spa, Watkins Glen Full Alt, Mugello Full Circuit, and Brands Hatch. New hoppers will also be coming in May but will start with Modern Hot Hatch, and Supercar Renaissance— perfect for the Honda cars. Finally, you can check out the league schedule by clicking here.

This definitely looks like an exciting update, especially since it includes a free car, helpful towards building your dream car collection.
