India’s largest e-commerce portal, Flipkart, launched its Windows Phone app earlier this year. The app has since snagged many updates, adding several new features and squashing bugs along the way. We are now learning that another update to Flipkart for Windows Phone is in the pipeline and will be hitting your handset soon.
The new update will bring several enticing features, chief among them is tipped to be the in-app notification center for Flipkart notifications. As visible in the image above, there is a notifications icon on the top-right corner.
And that’s not all, the Start screen tile of Windows Phone app is finally embracing the awesome world of Live Tiles, and is said to beam the in-app notifications to the flipping tiles. Furthermore, you will be able to pin your favorite products on the Start screen, and the Live tile will offer you information such as latest price and availability of that particular product.
