Flipboard for Windows Phone gets and update, still doesn't flip

Flipboard for Windows Phone has received a small update today. This update brings improvements to sharing and bug fixes. The app still does not flip, but instead slides, as opposed to its behavior on iOS and Android devices.

Flipboard is a news aggregator app that allows users to tailor the news to their liking. In addition to news, users can add their Facebook and Twitter accounts to the app for a single all-in-one news app. Flipboard is also on Windows 8, where the app has the iconic flip animation.

Here is the change log from Flipboard:

- Share web links from other apps into your Flipboard magazines.
- Display a refresh option when new stories are available in the section you're reading.
- Fixes issue where magazines do not show new flipped stories.
- More bug fixes and performance improvements.
