On October 26th, Fitbit unleashed an updated Windows Phone app adding integration with Cortana. On December 3rd, the app received yet another update, fixing bugs and making improvements throughout the app. Now, today, Fitbit has rolled out a new version of the app adding several major improvements.
“Live a healthier, more active life with Fitbit, the top app for tracking all-day activity, workouts and health. Use this app on its own to track basic activity, or connect with Fitbit’s line of activity trackers and the Aria Smart Scale to get a complete picture of your daily stats – including steps, distance, calories burned, sleep, weight, and more,” the app description reads.
Fitbit for Windows Phone has been bumped to version 1.5 and features the ability to track your heart rate, allow you to quickly add calorie information, scan barcodes, and track/view your exercise history. The app also features new graphs as well as the ability to log your evening snacks. With Cortana, you can now quickly log activities and calories using your voice. The app update also features various bug fixes.
