Windows Store Best Buy

About two months ago, Microsoft revealed that the software giant would be opening a Windows Store, roughly 1,500 square feet to 2,200 square feet, within 600 different Best Buy locations. Now, Microsoft has revealed that the very first Windows Store inside a Best Buy will launch Wednesday August 7th at the West Los Angeles Best Buy Store.

“On Wednesday August 7th at the West Los Angeles Best Buy Store, Major League Soccer will be on hand to kick off the first Windows Store at a major consumer location. MLS players and coaches will help show how to stay fit for back-to-school – from soccer drills on a full-size field in the parking lot to healthy food tips to the latest fitness and nutrition apps for Windows 8 like Daily Workouts, Fitbit, Endomondo, MyPlate Calorie Tracker, BallStrike and MLS MatchDay,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

The first 200 customers at the new Windows Store in Best Buy at the West LA location will receive a wristband for a chance to meet a former U.S. Men’s National Team and LA Galaxy player (Clint Mathis) and a former El Salvador Men’s National Team player and LA Galaxy player (Mauricio Cienfuegos). If you are a huge soccer fan, this is well worth the chance! You can also win two tickets to an upcoming LA Galaxy game and receive a free signed soccer ball.

You can also check out the Windows Store at BestBuy.com too!
