FastTrack, the Office 365 onboarding experience service, expands to include Teams, Dynamics 365, more

Microsoft has announced today a significant update to FastTrack, its customer support program dedicated to companies transitioning to Office 365. First of all, the company is launching previews of FastTrack for Windows 10 as well as FastTrack for Dynamics 365, allowing customers to access dedicated resources on fasttrack.microsoft.com and request assistance from either their certified Microsoft partner or their Microsoft account team. “Expanding FastTrack to Windows 10 and Dynamics 365 represents our commitment to supporting customer success service for the Microsoft Cloud,” shared Microsoft’s senior director of Office Marketing Cyril Belikoff in today’s blog post.

Additionally, FastTrack for Office 365 has also received the following additions:

  • FastTrack resources are now available in Czech, Greek, Hungarian, Indonesian, Malay, and Romanian, for a total of 27 languages.
  • Customers looking to embrace Microsoft Teams, the company’s new chat-based workspace in Office 365 can now do so with the help of new FastTrack resources plus remote support from the FastTrack team. “We are making this available in advance of Microsoft Teams general availability to allow you to begin planning and piloting Teams ahead of your organizational rollout,” explained Belikoff
  • IT Pros can now access Office 365 ProPlus deployment best practices, a new guide that will be continuously updated with to reflect new features and deployment capabilities.
  • Following the release of a Welcome to FastTrack guide last week, the Office team is also introducing a new Office 365 Adoption Guide plus a Productivity Library with Office 365 scenarios to share more best practices with business users

“FastTrack now serves more than 4,000 new customers every month. We’re working with thousands of partners and customers worldwide, enabled over 22,000 customers and migrated a total of 3.7 PB of customer data to date,” added Belikoff. Expanding support for Windows 10, Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Teams is definitely a great new milestone for the customer support program, and these new additions will surely help to drive adoption of Microsoft’s enterprise offerings among businesses.
