Yet another legacy app has been ported using the Centennial bridge and this time it is FaceRig. FaceRig is a popular program that aims to enable anyone with a webcam to digitally embody awesome characters. It got mainstream thanks to some popular YouTubers and their videos.
Now, how does this app work? It uses your webcam to animate different characters based on your face movement. It uses advanced face recognition technology and does what it is supposed to, very accurately.
WalkingCat, also known as h0x0d, tweeted out a link to the FaceRig store listing today. You can go ahead and buy the program, but it doesn’t seem to be officially out just yet. It is missing a tile and no official word has been disclosed about the availability.
