Facebook Messenger app update removes landscape mode in Windows 10 Mobile

| |

Just about a month ago, Facebook Messenger got a huge update on Windows 10 Mobile which finally brought it up to par with the beta version of the app, and the iOS and Android companions. Now a little over 27 days later from our last report, another update has hit the app, and this time it is removing landscape mode in Windows 10 Mobile.

Overall, the app update list no changes in the Windows Store, but the update does bring the app to version 79.528.24456.0. It also removes support for landscape mode in Windows 10 Mobile, which some users have noted was glitchy to begin with.

So, if you're an avid user of Facebook Messenger, now is the time to head over to the Windows Store and push that update button. As always, though, we've included a download link for you below, just in case you're not already using the app.

Do you notice anything new after the update? Let us know your thoughts by dropping us a comment below.
