The Xbox One is about to get another system update next month, and today the Estimated Download queue feature that was briefly tested earlier this year is making a comeback in the latest 1908 build for Preview Beta testers. This new feature will allow Xbox Insiders to see the estimated time to finish downloads in My Games and Apps, and Microsoft is inviting Insiders to share their feedback about it in a Xbox Insider Hub survey.

It’s worth noting that this feature isn’t live in the more advanced 1910 preview builds related to the next major Xbox One update coming in October. However, head of the Xbox Insider Program Brad Rossetti explained on Twitter today that the Xbox team is looking into bringing this Estimated Download queue feature into 1910 builds.

It’s not guaranteed yet that the Estimated Download queue feature will make it to the Xbox One 1908 update, and it will all depend on Insider feedback. Microsoft has released a couple of minor Xbox One system updates in recent months, and the Xbox team has yet to share more details about other new features currently in the pipeline for the 1908 and 1910 updates.
