‘ESPN Hub’ updated to ‘ESPN’ for Windows Phone, brings new UI changes

ESPN

ESPN Hub, the popular sports app for Windows Phone, has received a new update that brings with it a new name (simply ‘ESPN’) as well as a few User Interface (UI) changes.

The first of these changes is the new ‘Favorites’ tab, which allows users to keep up with their favorite teams more easily than before, aggregating news and scores. ‘Clubhouses’ pulls together content for multiple teams and leagues, ‘ESPN Now’ delivers real-time updates and commentary on various sports and ‘Inbox’ provides a home for personalized content from your teams.

‘On-Air’ is perhaps the most exciting addition, allowing users to watch ‘ESPN’ from the app and to listen to live radio with a single tap.

In all, this is a solid update for an app that sorely needed one, and should please anyone with a desire to follow ESPN on the go.
