Microsoft is giving Xbox fans a chance to attend Xbox Fanfest at gamescom 2017. To enter to win your chance at attending the world’s largest video game show, all you need to do is check out Major Nelson’s blog, and fill out a form with your personal details and Xbox Live Gamertag.
300 lucky fans will receive the tickets, access to the Xbox FanFest FanCave experience, special access to games in the Xbox booth during gamescom’s Consumer Days, and the chance to meet and greet some of the industry’s top developers. The promotion runs until Thursday, August 10th at 12:00 pm PT; 21:00 CET, tickets will be distributed via a random drawing, and winners will be notified by email on Friday, August 11th.
Winners must be over the age of 18 and must fill out their registration page within 48 hours of notice. Microsoft requires a valid, government-issued, picture ID (driver’s license, passport) as part of check-in, so be sure you have these documents ready if you win. Also, unlike in years past, Xbox FanFest will not provide gamescom tickets to either the Industry Day or Consumer Days.
Microsoft is planning to show off the Xbox One X at gamescom 2017 in Cologne, Germany, marking the first time that the next gen Xbox console will make appearances in Europe. For those who are not able to attend, there is still chances to watch online Sunday, August 20, at 9 p.m. CEST for a special Xbox @ gamescom live show, hosted by Graeme Boyd and Xbox Germany’s Maxi Graeff.
