Everyone’s favorite Windows hacker “Walking Cat” (@h0x0d) has been poking around in the registry settings in the latest Windows 10 Insider build (11082.1000), and has found some references to the long anticipated Edge extensions:

This isn’t the first time we’ve seen extensions see the light of day, a few days ago Walking Cat found a web page (since taken down) that looked to be a landing page for Windows Insider testing of extensions, including links to (non-working) extensions for Pin It and Reddit.
Walking Cat was actually able to get the extensions pane in Edge working, although the previously mentioned extensions still don’t work:

Microsoft has promised that extensions are coming for Edge “in 2016”, and has promised that Windows Insiders will be among the first to try them out. Of course we’re sure that our loyal WinBeta followers will lay off the adblocking extensions and do their part to keep this site running with all the latest Windows Insider news!
