Early Bird Deal: Meet Air, earphones that work with Windows phone, save 38%

With the launch of the iPhone 7, Apple announced AirPods, next-generation wireless earphones, designed to look good, feel comfortable and be wireless. It isn’t only Apple devices that may be able to experience some of the goodness, though. A company known as crazybaby, who has previously launched wireless speakers, is currently crowdfunding a product called Air.

Air is a set of earpieces that fit snuggly in one’s ear and connects via Bluetooth 4.2 to a smartphone. On top of this, it boasts up to 15 hours battery, as well as a pod that can give it an extra 3 hours of life while on-the-go.

With the crowdfunding already taking place and the first shipments expected in January 2017, hype is high, with over $600,000 funded so far, from its original goal of $50,000. To celebrate the funding campaign, crazybaby is offering early backers a perk – grab a pair of Air’s for just $99, compared to the expected retail price of $159. A saving of 38%.

Here are some of Air’s features:

  • Bluetooth 4.2
  • Carbon nanotube technology
  • In-ear mic
  • Charging pod
  • One button control
  • Noise isolation
  • Water resistant

As these earphones use Bluetooth technology, they are compatible with Windows phone devices that support Bluetooth 4.0+. While there won’t be an app for the platform available, users shouldn’t be missing out on too much – receiving the same quality audio as any other smartphone device, along with retaining the style of the earphones.

If you think you’d like a pair for $99, you’ll need to be quick. There’s a limit of 500 at that price, and at the time of writing, over 400 have been sold already. Free shipping is included.
