E3 2018: Mysterious Cyberpunk 2077 video game gets a stunning trailer during Xbox’s conference

Posted in:

One of the most-anticipated video games of the past year or so has been Cyberpunk 2077, the latest title from the studio behind The Witcher 3, CD Project Red.

The hype surrounding Cyberpunk 2077 was likely one of the reasons behind Microsoft choosing to close their Xbox E3 conference with a video tease for it and, while there’s still no official date for when Xbox One owners can expect to play it on their consoles, that hasn’t stopped gamers on social media from reacting extremely positively to what they saw.

Here’s the official Cyberpunk 2077 trailer in case you haven’t seen it yet or want to rewatch it again.

An official game description has also been released.

Night City, California. Year 2077.

The world is broken. MegaCorps manage every aspect of life from the top floors of their sky-scraping fortresses. Down below, the streets are run by drug pushing gangs, tech hustlers, and illegal braindance slingers. The in-between is where decadence, sex and pop culture mix with violent crime, extreme poverty and the unattainable promise of the American Dream.

You are V, a cyberpunk. In a world of cyberenhanced street warriors, tech-savvy netrunners and corporate life-hackers, today is your first step to becoming an urban legend.
