Dropbox for Windows Phone 8.1 receives gallery and UI improvements

Posted in:

Dropbox is one of the most popular cloud storage services with dedicated apps for all major mobile platforms. If you happen to be a regular user of Dropbox, there is an official app available in the Windows Phone Store, created by renowned developer Rudy Huyn. Today, a new update has been made available for the app on Windows Phone.
The update adds the usual bug fixes and performance improvements, as well as new improvements throughout the app. For example, images in the gallery are now grouped by date, text can now be selected in the text viewer, and the overall user interface of the app has been improved. The app also loads faster! Here’s the full change log:

  • Gallery: Images are grouped by date
  • Recents: incremental data loading to see more events
  • Text viewer: text can be selected
  • Improve UI of the app
  • Improve the startup time of the app
  • Bug fixes and performance improvement

You can snag the updated app from the download link below. No update has been made available for Windows 8.1 yet.
