Microsoft made some noise recently about the new Dropbox Universal Windows 10 app that was hitting the Windows Store. This app served as a stark reminder of how Microsoft is partnering with one-time competitors, and also of the value of the Universal Windows Platform. That doesn’t mean Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone 8.1 users are completely left out in the cold, however.
Rudy Huyn, Dropbox developer and former maker of a number of popular apps for Windows smartphones, hit up Twitter with a brief notice on some updates hitting the Windows Store for the older Windows platforms.

So, there you have it. If you’ve been using Dropbox on an older system, then just hit the update button in the Windows Store.
