Presumably, Microsoft will have a lot to say about the recent acquisition of industry leading cross-platform software solution Xamarin during its developer conference next week. Whisper within the tech community believe Xamarin will play a pivotal role in enticing new and current developers to re-enthuse themselves with Microsoft’s Windows, Azure, Xbox, and Office platforms.

Understandably, a lot of attention will be paid to what Microsoft speakers say and don’t say about Xamarin all week long, but to hear it from the horse’s mouth attendees only need to attend the Xamarin-specific party during Build 2016.

We’re excited to be joining the Microsoft family, and if //build 2016’s recording breaking 5-minute sell-out is any indication, the .NET community is bigger and more passionate than ever. To welcome all of the developers coming to San Francisco and to celebrate Xamarin joining Microsoft, we’re throwing a Xamarin-specific party at Jillian’s within the //build attendee party on Thursday, March 31, 2016!

Whether you’re attending the conference or are a Bay Area local, you’re welcome to join us for a celebration of all things C#, mobile, and cloud.

Microsoft is taking over the area with a block party stretching from Moscone to Yerba Buena Lane and Jillian’s is the //build attendee party Ground Zero! Come see the Xamarin Test Cloud Wall in action, play with some cool technology, and get your limited edition swag.

We wouldn’t be here without you, so come and have some fun with us!
