Dell is rolling out its new 24 Touch USB-C Hub Monitor which should have fans of the Surface Studio display a bit excited to finally get a touch-friendly dedicated screen for their current setups.

The Dell 24 Touch USB-C Hub Monitor (P2424HT) is a 1920 x 1080 FHD 23.8-inch touch monitor that can be flexed from a standard upright position to a tilted 60-degree designer/architect mode similar to the Surface Studio, but also doubles as a minimalist connectivity hub.

The Dell 24 Touch houses a single USB-C dedicated power connector that delivers up to 90 watts of power as well as an Ethernet port, two 5Gbps USB ports located on either side of the display, a full HDMI slot and display port.

Made from 85% Post Consumer Recyclable (PCR) plastics, the Dell 24 Touch also comes Energy STAR, TCO Certified Edge and EPEAT Gold certified for sustainability and energy efficiency.

Most importantly, the Dell Touch 24 supports 99% sRGB color calibration and IPS technology for accurate color displays as well as Dell’s own ComfortView Plus software that dampens blue light emissions while maintaining “true-to-life” colors.

While the Dell 24 Touch isn’t as sleek looking like the Surface Studio display and its hinge mechanism appears a bit clunkier, it achieves the same outcome for anyone who’s been waiting for a dedicated touch monitor with the ability to tilt, swivel, slant and adjust like Microsoft’s offering for $519.00.
