Deleted tweet suggests Xbox One X pre-orders opening this weekend
The official Gamestop Twitter account tweeted a tease for some sort of big news relating to the Xbox One X due to be announced this Sunday during Gamescom earlier today but quickly deleting it. The tweet, which had thankfully been screencapped by eager Reddit users, was accompanied by a grinning Ryan Reynolds gif and the text, “When there’s a “Big announcement” for #XboxOneX planned for this Sunday…”
Excited gamers understandably began asking Microsoft staff for further details on Twitter and the company’s Head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, has since stated that more information will be revealed tomorrow.
We'll share more info on this tomorrow.

It’s safe to assume that the big announcement will be the reveal of the upcoming console’s pre-order dates in different regions however given that the Xbox One X is due for release in just a few months’ time on November 7th, it’s equally as likely that this weekend will see the opening of the pre-orders as soon as the announcement is made.
