Ahead of the launch of the Xbox One S on August 2nd, Microsoft is cutting the price of all 500GB Xbox One consoles in the United States for a limited time. All 500GB consoles will come in at a cost of $249.
Larry Hryb, Director of Programming at Xbox, announced the deal on Twitter:

Hryb shared a link to an Amazon store listing, where it shows the ‘Name Your Game’ bundle edition as being $249, as well as many other 500GB Xbox One consoles.
So, if you were holding off upgrading to Xbox One from Xbox 360 or fancy a new console, now is the time to pick up a 500GB Xbox One for $249 while this deal lasts.
