If you are an Xbox Live Gold member, then you can download ‘Dead Island’ and ‘Toy Soldiers’ for free this month. While the former will be available till the 16th, the latter will become available from the 16th onwards until the end of this month.

Dead Island, which normally costs $19.99, is a game about surviving a zombie outbreak. This is a pretty tried and tested plot, which we have seen in multiple movies and TV series, including The Walking Dead.

“The player’s only chance for survival is to escape from the island! “Dead Island” combines first-person action with heavy focus on melee combat, character development and customization of a vast array of weapons. All of these features are presented in a dark zombie story with a campaign that can be played with up to four players in co-op mode.”

The other game Toy Soldiers, normally costs $14.99 and was launched back in 2010. “Toy Soldiers: Cold War will keep you on the frontlines of frenetic fun as you battle to best your friends’ scores in intense mini-games, test your mettle against waves of enemies in Survival mode or just have a blast blowing stuff up!”, as described by Xbox.

Xbox 360 Gold members get two games for free every month. Last month, Sleeping Dogs, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light were available for free.
