Gears 5 is one of the few existing Xbox One games that will be enhanced for Microsoft’s Xbox Series X & S consoles on their November 10 launch, an developer The Coalition is working on some pretty big updates. The game’s multiplayer modes will support 120 FPS on Microsoft’s next-gen Xbox consoles, and the campaign will also get some love with improved graphics, better input latency, a New Game+ mode, and more.

Starting November 10, gamers will also be able to play the Gears 5 campaign with Dave Bautista replacing supporting character Marcus Fenix. The Hollywood actor and WWE Legend is known to be a big Gears of War fan, and developer The Coalition previously added him as a playable character in Gears 5’s multiplayer modes.

Last but not least, Gears 5 will get its first solo DLC in December, which will be optimized for the Xbox Series X & S consoles. “All I can say is December and the title is Hivebusters, so it might give you a little hint as to what that content might contain,” Zoe Curnoe, Gears 5 principal lead producer said to IGN. This first DLC is expected to provide 3-4 hours of gameplay, and The Coalition will share more about pricing details in early December.
