Conan Exiles, an open-world survival game, featuring singleplayer, co-op, and online multiplayer, that is expected to generally release in 2018, is coming to Xbox Game Preview this year. The description of the game reads:

Conan Exiles is an open-world survival game set in the brutal lands of “Conan the Barbarian.” Here you have been exiled to a harsh desert, where you must build and dominate the lands around you to survive. You can either play alone in single-player, in co-op with friends, or on a private or public online server populated with dozens of other players.

Announced on the Xbox Wire blog, Conan Exiles will be coming to Xbox Game Preview on August 16th.

The game has already been on Early Access for PC, and since then has had a number of updates, as Funcom’s Communications Manager notes:

Since its start in Early Access on PC, we have updated Conan Exiles many times, squashed lots of bugs, and introduced a ton of new content like dungeons, siege weapons, a dyeing system, new building pieces, new furniture, grenades, and more. Because the game has had the time to mature for several months now on PC, Xbox One gamers will play a game that’s bigger and better than ever before.

It will remain in Xbox Game Preview until the first quarter of 2018, which is when the game is planned to launch. Additionally, Conan Exiles will be an Xbox One X Enhanced title, delivering native 4K.

Xbox Game Preview is a way of testing out games that are not currently in a finished state, and are subject to change.
