Command and Conquer Tiberium Alliances is the very first “portable” free-to-play MMO game and is now available as an Open Beta. Why is it called “portable” you ask? Command and Conquer Tiberium Alliances can be played on both web browsers and mobile phones.

The game was in Closed Beta back in December of last year and just recently it has reached an Open Beta program. “We spent 3 month in closed beta during which we learned a lot about how players are actually playing our game – what kind of targets they attack, how successful they are, how they make use of the different units and their combinations. This allowed us to tweak a lot of things but also led us to rework some aspects like the repair system,” Senior Producer, Martin Lohlein stated.

So whats new in the Open Beta? “We are constantly monitoring the game, listening to player feedback, making updates/improvements and introducing new features. I don’t want to give everything away at this point, but there a few exciting updates, planned for imminent release that I can tell you about. One of our most requested features has been an in-game chat feature. We are working on this right now and will offer a world chat, alliance and officer channels as well as whisper functionality,” Lohlein adds.

The game places an emphasis on teamwork and utilizes live status steams and newsfeeds updated in real-time to allow users to connect with friends and keep track of everything happening in the game.
