As for the integration with Windows Information Protection, it is designed to help ShareFile customers keep personal and work information separate. “Users can freely copy content between business apps and documents, while WIP will help prevent business data from accidentally leaking to unauthorized locations (e.g.: personal documents or the public web) and applications”, explained Microsoft. Windows Information Protection is also an added security devices for shared devices, and it can also protect documents that are saved to external storage devices.
