Earlier today, we reported that the Microsoft Store had pushed back the release date of the HP Elite x3 in the US, as the premium handset is now expected to start shipping to consumers on September 26th. At the time of our previous report, we also wrote that HP had yet to start accepting pre-orders for the Elite x3 but it seems that the company has since updated its store listing. Indeed, Windows Central reports that HP.com is now taking pre-orders for the flagship Windows 10 Mobile phone which is currently priced at $799:

The HP Elite x3 on HP.com.
The HP Elite x3 on HP.com.

While this $799 bundle (Desk dock included) matches the price found on the US Microsoft Store, HP will offer US customers two additional discounts along their purchase:

  • Up to $40 off select Bose speakers
  • The HP OfficeJet 4650 all-in-One for only $29.99

However, the manufacturer has yet to announce a shipping date for the handset on the store listing and we’ll let you know if something changes in the coming days. Let us know in the comments if you’re more likely to pre-order the Elite x3 from HP.com rather than the US Microsoft Store.
