Bing Rewards wants to give you a free Xbox One and a few games
We are just a little over one week away from launch day — the Xbox One hits retail shelves on November 22nd, accompanied by what could, perhaps, be a large amount of fanfare. The console is expected to compete with rival Sony for the lion’s share of the market but, more importantly to Microsoft, also vies for control of your living room. The Xbox One is not only a gaming system, but also an entertainment hub.
Now, the search arm of the Redmond-based company is sweetening the pot, by offering you the chance to walk away with the new box, free of charge. Through its Bing Rewards program, the company is offering that “right now you can enter for a chance to win an Xbox One with three exclusive games, including Forza Motorsport 5, Ryse: Son of Rome and Dead Rising 3.
To get your name in the hat, you will need to sign up for the program. The account is free, but you have to hurry. There is just over a week, as the offer expires on November 25th, only three days after retail launch. Of course, it comes with the usual batch of stipulations, “sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, who are at least 13 years old at the time of entry. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited.”
To get started, head to Bing Rewards to sign up for an account. The more you search, the more Microsoft would like to reward you — it’s a message that comes across loud and clear. But, in exchange for a $500 console, this just may be worth using the Google rival.Further reading: Microsoft, Xbox One
