Bing Audio

For those that didn’t know, Bing Audio is a feature on Windows Phone that allows you to tap the Search button on your phone and select the music note icon while listening to a song. Bing Audio will them identify that song for you. Microsoft has revealed today that Bing Audio has been expanded to 14 new countries across the world. Did your country make the list?

“Bing Audio support for Windows Phone has started rolling out to 14 new countries including Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Sweden, and Switzerland. The feature is already available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the U.K., and the U.S,” Microsoft stated in an official blog post.

While Windows Phone users may stick to the Shazam app or SoundHound app for music identifying, Microsoft is obviously recommending you give Bing Audio a try. After all, Bing Audio is built-in and isn’t a third party app. Bing Audio is also tied to Xbox Music, so you can easily buy or preview the song you identified. Give it a try!
