Microsoft has announced that it will be sunsetting the Bing Ads Campaign Planner on July 26. Campaign Planner is a feature that’s been sitting idle for quite some time, which allows advertisers to easily plan a new campaign by providing industry insights and tools to find search terms to target.
Instead, Microsoft is recommending the successor to Campaign Planner, the Keyword Planner. Similar to Google AdWords’ Keyword Planner, it helps advertisers find keywords to bid on, but also integrates vertical insights from Campaign Planner into it, allowing advertisers to pick industries and categories to search within.
Campaign Planner will end on July 26th, 2017. At that point, advertisers will need to use Keyword Planner to find the best keywords and targeting options for their campaigns in Bing Ads.Further reading: Bing Ads, Microsoft
