Microsoft’s search ad network, Bing Ads, has released a new feature for advertisers in the United States. This new feature allows those who are advertising products from online retailers to display promotions and voucher codes alongside the Shopping Ads that show in search results on Bing and partner search engines.
Limited to the United States for now, Merchant Promotions are aimed at creating more-informed shoppers, so that before clicking an ad, any special offers are already known. Additionally, it provides more context on the product offering, which is hoped to lead to increased click-through rates for advertisers.
Advertisers can create a promotion from the Bing Ads interface with just 3 steps:
- Click the Promotions tab (will be visible once you’re approved for the program).
- Click Create promotion and enter the details of the promotion.
- Click Save and you’re done!
