Microsoft has rolled out an update to the Battery Saver feature for Windows Phone 8.1. Interestingly enough, the company is rolling out the update as a downloadable app from the Windows Phone Store.
In this update, which now bumps the Battery Saver app to version 1.0.14131.157, Microsoft has added the ability to sort through which apps use up your battery. For instance, you can show apps with usage, show all apps, or show only apps that can run in the background.
Battery Saver, for those that did not know, is a cool feature that lets you see which apps consume the most power. You can even manage apps and prevent them from running in the background, especially useful if a particular app eats up a lot of power.
