Batman Arkham Knight set to arrive on June 2nd 2015 for Xbox One and PC

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment announced back in March 2014 that Batman Arkham Knight, created by Rocksteady Studios, is coming to Xbox One and Windows PC, as well as PlayStation 4, later this year. This is the finale of the Arkham series where the hero faces the ultimate threat and has to protect Gotham from evil villains.

Unfortunately, it looks like the release date got pushed back just a bit. According to a new tweet from the official Batman Arkham Knight Twitter handle, the game will be released on June 2nd of next year!

“Batman: Arkham Knight is the pinnacle game of our hugely successful franchise, and we are giving players the most expansive, impressive title in the series. The Rocksteady Studios team is continuing to focus on the excellent gameplay for which they are known while delivering a thrilling new experience for gamers and Batman fans,” said Martin Tremblay, President, Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment.

Batman Arkham Knight will take place in Gotham, one year after the events that took place in the earlier game, Batkham Arkham City. Once again, the hero has to protect the city from evil villains, such as Penguin, Scarecrow, Two-Face, and Harley Quinn. The game also features Rocksteady Studio’s uniquely designed Batmobile. This is the first time in the series players will be able to drive the vehicle.

The game will be available for both Xbox One and Windows PC, as well as PS4. You can pre-order the game now and receive a playable Harley Quinn add-on. You will be able to become Harley Quinn for the first time ever in an Arkham game and utilize her unique weapons, gadgets, and abilities first-hand. The add-on includes four exclusive challenge maps.
