Asus is officially launching the world’s first foldable laptop at Asus IFA 2022, the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED (UX9702). The laptop has a unique design that offers users two sizes of OLED display in one device. From its exclusive color and high-tech materials all the way to its supremely elegant finish and truly the Zenbook 17 Fold OLED redefines the meaning of premium. The laptop is just 8.7mm thin when unfolded and crafted in magnesium alloy.
The new Zenbook 17 Fold OLED laptops offer multiple versatile modes, all thanks to the foldable designs that allow multiple versatile usage modes including Laptop mode, Extend mode, Desktop mode, Reader mode, Tablet mode, and Laptop mode with Bluetooth keyboard. Asus packs everything in this laptop.

Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED Specifications & Features
The Zenbook 17 Fold OLED feature two sizes of OLED display in one device- the main 17.3-inches 2.5k OLED touchscreen display that folds in the middle to create two seamless 12.5-inches FHD+ OLED displays. This display offers a 60Hz refresh rate, 87-percent screen to-body-ratio,500 nits of HDR peak brightness, and 0.2ms response time. It has a 180° hinge for folding and unfolding.
The Intel Evo-certified foldable laptop’s display has a 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut and is also PANTONE validated for color accuracy and TUV Rheinland certified for reducing harmful blue light.
Under the hood, the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold laptop is powered by a 12th generation Intel core i7 U series processor integrated with an Intel Xe iris graphics. It packs up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of PCle Gen 4 SSD. The machine runs on Windows 11 Home out of the box.
There’s room for a 75Whr battery, which supports a 65W fast charger available in the box. As for the connectivity options, there is support for a 2x USB C Thunderbolt port, WiFi6e, Bluetooth v5.0, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Other features include a 5MP AI webcam with IR function, quad speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and Asus 3D noise reduction technology. Zenbook 17 OLED comes with a Bluetooth version new ego sense keyboard and a touchpad. The keyboard has a full-size 19.05mm key pitch and a long 1.4mm key travel. Pricing and Availability
The starting price of the Asus Zenbook 17 Fold OLED laptop is $3,499 and comes in tech Black. The laptop will roll out globally during quarter 4 of 2022.
