Assassin’s Creed Unity, the forthcoming next-gen evolution of the blockbuster franchise, is now available for digital pre-order and pre-download on Xbox One. While you can download it now, you won’t be able to play it just yet, as the game isn’t launching until November 11; on that date, it will also arrive on Windows PC and PlayStation 4.
The game’s plot revolves around the French Revolution. In case you were sleeping in that history class, expect to see drama, intrigue and of course, the Reign of Terror. Here’s some more information on it:

You can pre-order the game for $59.99. That money will get you the standard game, plus the Chemical Revolution Mission add-on content. Xbox One’s Gold subscribers can also pre-order the game for $89.99, which will get you the Season Pass for future DLC.
Do note that by pre-downloading the title, you won’t be able to play the game right away, as that will only be possible after the game releases on November 11. However, you will be able to have the game ready before it becomes playable, which is still a great thing, as you are saving yourself a lot of time on the launch day.
