Angry Birds Go and Vine for Windows Phone 8 receive performance improvements

For those of you who play the recently released Angry Birds Go app for Windows Phone 8, there is a minor update awaiting your attention in the Windows Phone Store. On top of that, the official Vine app for Windows Phone 8 also gets some attention in a minor app update.

“Welcome to downhill racing on Piggy Island! Feel the rush as you fling those freewheeling birds and piggies down the track at breakneck speed – with plenty of twists and turns in a thrilling race to the finish line! But beware! Look out for hazardous roads, mischievous opponents riding your tail and special powers to put the race leader behind the pack. Plus, go from soapbox car to supercar by upgrading your ride!” the Angry Birds Go app description reads.

With this app update, which bumps the build number to 1.0.2.0, we are treated to some bug fixes that fix “a few small issues in the game to make everything even faster, smoother and better!”

On the other hand, we have the official Vine app for Windows Phone 8. “Vine is the best way to see and share life in motion. Create short, beautiful, looping videos in a simple and fun way for your friends and family to see,” the app description reads.

In this update, which bumps the version number to 1.1.0.0, we are treated to bug fixes and performance improvements. On top of that, you can now save your work as a draft by simply tapping the green colored “X” at the top-left of the app screen. You can then resume from a draft and continue recording by tapping an icon when you are in Vine’s recording mode.
