Android version of Microsoft’s SwiftKey keyboard finally gets the Messaging center

Microsoft’s SwiftKey Keyboard app/keyboard for Android has finally updated with the Messaging center feature that came to Apple’s iOS devices over a month ago.

This new Messaging center is a kind of news feed within the keyboard that contains notices on the latest updates and features and also tips for how to use the keyboard fully.

Also in today’s update for Android devices is revamped Customizer tool which should be easier and faster to used.

Here’s the release notes:

  • Your SwiftKey Toolbar is now home to more features than ever before! Take a look.
  • Use the revamped Customizer tool to choose what you see on your Toolbar. Just tap the … icon to get started.
  • We’ve added Messaging center to SwiftKey Toolbar Messaging center is a place to learn more about SwiftKey’s newest features, along with tips to help you get the most out of your SwiftKey Keyboard.
