ABC iView app finally launches on Xbox One

Great news for Australians today as ABC (the Australian channel of the same name, not the North American channel) has finally brought its ABC iview app to Xbox One.
The ABC iview app allows for on demand viewing of programs that air on ABC affiliated channels ranging from domestic Australian news broadcasts and dramas to the occasional international series such as Doctor Who which actually premieres on the ABC iview service almost a half day ahead of its Australian televised premiere.
ABC iview is free to use and can be downloaded from the Apps section of the Store on the Xbox One console. ABC channels showing content on the app include ABC 1, ABC 2, ABC 3, ABC Kids, ABC News 24, and ABC Arts. The app can be viewed in either snapped or fill mode and programs can be sorted by genre, alphabetically, or by channel.
