8list for Windows Phone

Craigslist is popular classified websites available in various parts of the globe. Currently, Craigslist does not have an official app. But if you’re in need of one, there are a few applications developed by third-party developers, including the recently launched 8list for Windows Phone – which happens to be an officially-licensed Craigslist app.

“Browse craigslist with the first officially-licensed app on Windows Phone. 8list provides the best viewing experience. No other app remembers which posts are new/seen/read like 8list does. You can create multiple different favorite lists to keep things organized. And hide posts that you don’t want to see again,” according to the app description.

The application comes with quite a lot of useful features you would expect from a Craigslist client. It let users manage multiple favorite lists to keep everything simple and organized, as well as the ability to track what you’ve seen and what’s new in the classified sections.  The application also presents all the contact details in a post in a single contact card that displays the sellers phone number, email ID and other important contact details. Later, the contact card can easily be saved, in case you make your mind to purchase the specific item.

In addition, it comes with live tiles support allowing users to pin posts, favorite lists, and searches to your Start screen, providing users with quick access to the stuff they are interested in. Here’s a list of features that can be found inside the 8list application:

  •  Seen/read tracking
  •  Find phone numbers and emails in post
  •  Multiple favorite lists
  •  Hiding posts
  •  Search alerts
  •  Pinning live tiles
