512GB Surface Pro 2 now available for pre-order, ships by October 29th

The 512GB Surface Pro 2 model is now available for pre-order at the online Microsoft Store. The device runs for $1,799.00 and comes with 200 GB of SkyDrive storage and unlimited Skype minutes.

The Surface Pro 2 starts at $899 and is available for pre-order in a variety of configurations, including 64GB storage and 4GB RAM, 128GB storage and 4GB RAM, and also 256GB of storage with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage with 8GB of RAM. 

When pre-orders went live on September 24th, the 512GB option was unavailable. You can now head over to the source link below to pre-order the 512GB option for a hefty $1,799. 

The Surface Pro 2 will launch at Microsoft retail stores and select retailers in 22 initial markets including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States on October 22nd. China will be able to get their hands on the device in early November.

We originally reported that this device would ship on October 25th, as indicated on Microsoft’s pre-order site. It appears that Microsoft has adjusted this date to October 29th now.
