The range of titles available for the Xbox One has grown a little more recently with the addition of puzzler/platformer Kalimba to the roster. Players are charged with jumping, flying and sliding through the underworld in an attempt to escape and restore light to the island of Kalimba by reaching the heavens. Whether playing single player or local two player, co-operation is key to victory.
Costing $9.99 and taking up 2.3GB of hard drive space, the title was developed by Press Play, the award-winning games development studio acquired by Microsoft in 2012. Previously the studio worked on such well-received titles as the Tentacles series and, Max: The Curse of the Brotherhood, among others. Boasting a unique art style no doubt inspired a little by the popular title Terraria, this game promises to be something a little different to the norm.
If you have a little spare time and cash this holiday season, this might be worth taking a look. Will you be purchasing Kalimba? Let us know in the comments below.Further reading: Kalimba, Microsoft, Xbox One
