You can find your PC's IP address through cmd with a few steps. Here's how:

  1. Head to the Start menu search bar, type in 'cmd,' and select the best match.
  2. In the Command prompt, type in the following command and hit Enter:
    ipconfig
  3. Look at the address written in front of IPv4. That will be your PC's IP address.

The Command prompt will throw a battery of information at you. From all this information, locate the IPv4 Address value. The numbered address for the IPv4 Address is what denotes your PC’s IP address. In this case, it's 10.211.55.8, as you can see from the image above.
