  2. Right-click on the app’s title bar.
  3. Select Properties and then select the Colors tab from the top.
  4. From there, you will get four different properties for your Command prompt: Screen Text, Screen Background, Popup Text, and Popup Background.

That’s it. Pick any property and play around with the settings to tweak the color in your Command prompt You can easily tweak the color sceme on your Command prompt from these settings.

However, this method will not work on Windows 11. For that you will have to use the color command. To change the color in your Command prompt, type in the following command and hit Enter:

color /?

Then, you can choose a host of other color combination by typing in color XY, where X denotes the color of the text you want, and Y stands for the background color. From there, you can enter a combination of colors and choose the one that best fits your needs.
