Split-screen co-streaming is coming to Instagram

Instagram has begun testing a new feature to a small number of users which allows for co-streaming between two separate accounts. The feature apparently works the same way as a regular livestreaming but is initiated by the press of an icon that looks like two smiley faces. After the press, users can select whom to co-stream with.

Access to this feature is very limited right now on all official Instagram apps but it will likely roll out to more users as the testing progresses in a similar fashion to the rollout of the basic livestreaming option.
