LinkedIn Video begins rolling out, with mobile capture and audience insights

The trial video experience for LinkedIn is becoming globally available only a month later. The feature, added to make sharing information via the social platform, shares your experience and perspective in new ways.

This will be a particularly useful addition for businesses wanting to show more behind the scenes of what they do or even for video resumes. The employment opportunities available through LinkedIn will be able to search for personalities more fitting what they need by learning more through videos.

To make a LinkedIn video, use the mobile app and tap on the video icon. From there, you can record a video or upload another one that you’ve taken previously. Furthermore, you can get insights of who is viewing your videos, what they liked, and comments. These stats are available with both mobile and desktop via the dashboard.

Sharing videos is still rolling out to LinkedIn, but the blog post assures that members should be seeing it globally within the ‘coming weeks’.
